While some of the more exclusive yachts have cruised with many a celebrity, there is usually something for everyone! Basically, the price is scaled to the level of luxury, with cozy honeymoon crewed sailing yachts starting at $5000 per week, inclusive of meals and bar. And often people use this as an opportunity to share with special friends and family, making the price per person competitive with many other vacation options. As a general rule of thumb, as the size and amenities go up, so do rates, but yacht charters are a great value – one of the world’s best kept vacation secrets!

What about the crew?   Private charter yachts hire full time professional crew. Depending on the size of the vessel, the complement may consist of Captain, Chef, Mate, Engineer, Deckhand and Stewardess. Generally, the larger the yacht, the larger the crew. The yacht’s employees are carefully screened during the interviewing process and continually evaluated for performance by the Captain and yacht Owner to ensure great service!

What do I wear?   Casual, comfortable clothing, several bathing suits, sunglasses, hats, and sun lotions are the norm. If you feel like dressing up for dinner or are in an area with excellent restaurants ashore, you might want to bring a few dressier outfits.

What do we do on the Yacht Charter?   Some favorites are water-skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba, lounging and sunning, fishing, touring, kayaking, wave running, swimming, shelling, sailing, etc.! It’s a great way to spend quality time with family and friends. The dining is great and, once again, scaled to your preferences and style. It can be as formal or casual as you desire! Stay on board in the evening and enjoy the moonlight and yacht’s amenities, or dance in the sand to a calypso band! Your crew will see to it that you have the most fun filled and active, or to the contrary, most relaxing vacation ever!
