Catamaran Anassa - a sweet ride!

Sights were many at the Poros show in Greece

As Charter Brokers we have the good fortune to not only go to industry Charter Expositions and Boat shows, but we sometimes get to do “Fam trips” (short for familiarization trips) as well! After two hard weeks of touring yachts at both the MYBA Genoa show and the Poros Greek show, Ann E (that’s me!) had the great opportunity to spend a few days cruising some Greek Isles.

The trip took place on the clean and hospitable 62′ sailing catamaran Anassas under the gentle guidance of Captain Jiorgos (George) Kourtelis and his crew of Takis the prolific chef and Tilak the quiet and steady mate. We visited Hydra and Aegina before I had to tear myself away to catch my flight out of Athens. All I have to say about that is it was not enough, I want to cruise Greece for a whole summer! The people there are so warm and friendly and the yachts were absolutely fabulous… I’LL BE BACK!!!
